Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @softa:

Litoměřice is a district town lying on the river Elbe in the Ústí nad Labem Region. Earlier it used to be a royal town and today is the center of the town monument zone, with an area of 44 streets. Fact that the city lies at the foot of the Czech Central Mountains and from some places overlooks the Elbe lowlands in the south of the city.

Sort:

Malá Strana, The Valdštejnská street.
Quarter in which was our lodging just a step away from the castle. Very convenient because it is accessible to all the attractions of Mala Strana but also to the historic center for a pleasant walk or the use of a tram (very pleasant for an overview of the city and free for seniors! ). Very quiet in the morning.

Such an amazing image! Walking through the streets just like this one reveals the real beauty of Prague. Well worth featuring as the main entry in today's contest!

View of the Kruzberk Reservoir and beautiful surrounding landscape from a look-out spot found above the village of the same name (Kruzberk) in the Moravian - Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. The reservoir was built in 1955 and it occupies an area of 280 ha. Photo taken yesterday.

Here’s my original photo taken during our family trip in Prague! Like the colorful tone and the interaction between my little girl and the famous Prague Hedgehog Pencil!😍

Those colors are so cool. Great shot.

Thanks!😘

I like that! Something little different from the regular entries!

That’s exactly what I wannna express through this entry, which is the real contact between visitors and the beauty (symbolic landmarks or super famous items) of Prague!😃

Prague rates as one of the most beautiful cities in the world mostly because of its architecture and atmosphere. Prague is full of historical sights, magical scenic views, winding cobblestone streets, horse-drawn carriages, old-fashioned street lamps, charming gardens and many other romantic places inviting everyone to enjoy it.

Beautiful city that can bring to Europe's past. When you go to Cesky Krumlov Castle, you have a panoramic view of the city, which will give you a great photo. Beautiful place with lovely historic buildings. The people are friendly and the food was great.

Another epic image of Cesky Krumlov!

Thanks a lot

Photography of a part of a large area of the Augustinian monastery above Karlov. Street Horská, New Town, Prague 2
The fate of the monastery is typical for many religious monuments in Bohemia.
It was built after 1350. Destroyed and abandoned during the Hussite wars in the 15th century. Baroque rebuilt in the 17th century and abolished by the enlightenment reform of Joseph II. at the end of the 18th century. Now there is a museum of police and forensics. I recommend watching. Extremely interesting!

Kokořín Castle lies about 10 kilometers northeast of Mělník. The castle was built after 1320. In 1426 it was conquered by the Hussite troops and then alternated the owners. He was deserted from 1544. In 1894 Václav Špaček purchased the ruins and fixed the castle in Neo-Gothic style. After the Second World War, he was nationalized. In 2001 it became a national monument. In 2006, it was returned to the original owners. It is accessible during the tourist season.

After taking this photograph, I did not realize at first that I photographed the other side of the Church of St. Nicholas. Which is located on the Old town square. And only when once more spared the Church saw its beauty.

I do not like taking pictures with myself, I usually feel very constrained. However, especially for @czechglobalhosts, I decided to make an exception and appear in all my glory. My interpreter Xenia made this shot. In my opinion, she can become a good photographer.

That's great! Actually I like to see my participants:)....

I love the architecture and little details they added to the building in Old Town. It really is beautiful. This window is on what google claims is a government office called Pozemkový úřad - Magistrát hlavního města Prahy.
