Prague/Czech Republic - Tuesday photo challenge - share your personal pictures from your visit to the Czech Republic!
WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT
Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great start to the new week! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below. Just make sure you are familiar with the new rules and conditions of this photo challenge:
AS THIS PHOTO CHALLENGE HAS BEEN INCREASINGLY POPULAR ON STEEMIT AND THE NUMBER OF SUBMISSIONS HAS BEEN CONSTANTLY GROWING, I CANNOT UVPOTE ALL OF THEM ANYMORE, UNFORTUNATELY. THEREFORE, STARTING NOW, ONLY THE BEST 15 ENTRIES OF THE DAY WILL BE UVPOTED. OUT OF THOSE 15 PHOTOS, HOWEVER, I WILL ALWAYS CHOOSE THE WINNER OF THE DAY WHO WILL BE REWARDED WITH A BIGGER UVPOTE. THE WINNING PHOTO WILL BE ALSO FEATURED AS THE COVER PHOTO FOR THE CHALLENGE POST THE NEXT DAY, TO GIVE THE WINNER SOME MORE EXPOSURE AND PUBLICITY. HOPEFULLY, THESE UPDATES WILL ALSO MOTIVATE ALL CONTRIBUTORS TO SUBMIT THEIR VERY BEST SHOTS.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @zelivsky:
View of Prague from Petřín (the hill on left bank of the Vltava River). You can see Prague Castle in the centre of photo. To the left of Prague Castle is Prague's district of Hradčany or the Castle District. On the right side of photo, below Prague Castle, is Prague's district of Malá Strana or Lesser Town of Prague.

I rewarded @zelivsky winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other photos.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

I visited Prague a few years ago. One afternoon I started strolling the charming streets full of classical buildings west of the Vltava river, later I walked up some steps to a hilltop, then I got this stunning view of Golden Prague at sunset. Seems the best moments happen when they are unplanned. 😃
What an amazing entry! It will get featured today as a welcome post. Tomas
Thank you Tomas! :) There are more photos in my new post, check it out if interested : https://steemit.com/cn/@itchyfeetdonica/36-golden-prague
Wenceslas Square is one of the main city squares and the centre of the business and cultural communities in the New Town of Prague. It is a popular meeting place with many hotels, shops and restaurants around. Also famous for busy nightlife.
Amazing, as seen in your post, an interesting and comfortable country.
@aroelchan I love Prague, too! Have a great day and smile :))
Thank you for your attention, good luck
@liltammy
Oh I know near is an excellent restaurant - Vytopna railway restaurant
@travoved Yes, I know that place, they have fantastic pizza, very tasty and HUGE :)
Yes and pizza too! :)
I've been to Prague but somehow missed this place !?

I think you'll find all information about this wonderful place!
Good luck!
Thank you so much, what a wonderful entry. Tomas
View of the Vltava River and southern part of Prague from the Branik Rocks (Branicke Skaly), a natural landmark in Prague – Branik. With a height of 264 m (866 ft), the highest peak of the rocks offers a nice panoramic view of the city but unfortunately, the weather was really bad that day so you cannot see much.
Thnka you for sharing some good information with all of us.
Yesterday I shared a fabulous ceiling inside the Prague Castle and today I'll show you what it actually looks like from afar. It seems like there is no particular pattern of some sort from the photo. I'll share some of the close up photos with you in the coming days as each individual emblem print is actually different. It was very impressive
Another beautiful ceiling. I love it!
Karlovy Vary
I was inspired by your yesterday entry and I pick my photo from Karlovy Vary. It is a beautiful city, that is very famous for example, because of International film festival. When you are there you have to try local wafer.
Fog and drizzle. How can it seem no better time for walking. But if there is a mood, then it can be very sincere. I almost never do it in my hometown. But on trips I get pleasure from such walks.

Oh, absolutely! Walking is just the best!
Wandering the streets in Prague and studying the complex architectural elements of the old buildings and monuments - that's a must do. The Old Town has this vintage, romantic and sometimes misterious vibe which I love!
Absolutely wonderful entry. Thank you so much for your submission. Tomas
In our country there are plenty of beautiful and picturesque places. Their mapping would cost a lot of time. Thanks to this competition, the world can learn how beautiful it is in our country. I will add one picturesque shot of the castle in the town of Horni Cerekev, which I bought quite recently.
Thank you @czechglobalhost for organizing this contest
Thank you so much, I appreciate your comment. Have a great day.
Thank you for praise and upvote ;-)
I am posting again the photo of Loreta, a pilgrimage destination in Hradčany, a district of Prague. It consists of a cloister, the church of the Lord’s Birth, the Santa Casa and a clock tower with a famous chime.
This time it is from a different angle, and the accent is on cobblestreet, it was so clean, and tidy, It always amazes me how things can look beautiful with just a little more effort.
Cheers!
I'm introducing you a greasy furnace.
Greasy furnace is an important technical monument in Bohemia, in forests near the city of Pilsen. It is best preserved in Bohemia, it dates from around 1800, it was used for the production of tar, lubricants and rosin by dry wood distillation. The monument is maintained and in a very good condition, worth a visit. The photo is HDR-edited.
Thank you so much for your great entry. Tomas
Taky děkuji.
