Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Africa.
See the winner of the last week´s African Wednesday @jpphotography with the following entry:
Sahara Sand Dune Sunset. Walking up this steep dune was pretty exhausting, but at the top I had left all other tourists behind. Watching the sun setting over the Sahara from this spot was one of the highlights of my trip to Morocco earlier this year.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

@vinceboisgard Asian Sunday entry:
At the ending of the day, when the sun is setting and the sky shine of warm colours comes the best time to get the board out. Bali is a nice place to do so and I always loved sitting on the beach watching the show!

A group of them have got used to visit the anchorage several times a week and were happy to pose in front of my camera. I'm sure they have heard about @czechglobalhosts and wanted to be posted for the Australian Monday contest. Done !

@axeman Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:
Ice soldiers. The coast of Baltic Seaa t Sventoji, Lithuania. A small city about 40km from Klaipeda. The remaons of old piers looks just stunning after certain periods of cold weather with ice hats on the tops caused by constantly hitting waves. This evening was very calm and got some colors only at the very sunset. A bit of long exposure to "move" the clouds. Enjoy it!

Yes, sometimes I go out of sea !!
Tinghir Ruins, Morocco
Until a few decades ago, houses in Tinghir, a small town in Morocco, were built next to the river. Now that tap water is available and a convenient access to roads and infrastructure has become more important, these mud-brick houses have been abandoned. The ruins located in the green oasis make for some great exploring!

Under Hurghada skies
While the most of tourists who coming to Hurghada, Egypt are mostly into spending all the time on the beach or in hotel's bar... still some are coming to catch some winds.
Here is perfect winter day with amazing cloud formations. The pier with boats and a kiter getting some adrenaline while jumping on the waves, not big though.. :)
Enjoy the scenery!

This is what remains of the temple of Sobek and Haroeris of Kom Ombo, south of Egypt. It's a sad that part of the temple has collapsed in the Nile. Let's hope that the rest will still stand in the future.
Yep, let's hope for the best and that all the preservation efforts are in place. Have a great day.
