Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #30 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

• Monday: Australia and New Zealand
• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans

My trip to Israel last year is one of my very favorites I've taken in the last few years. There's so much incredible history to see here. This is David's Tomb in Jerusalem, the burial place for David, King of Israel. While most historians don't believe King David is actually buried here, this is still an incredibly holy and revered building for Jews, Christians, and Muslims. And still standing after many centuries, this building is a wonderful example of inspiring architecture.

Beautiful black and white shot. I love the detail in the brick.

This is one of the river areas in the city of Lhokseumawe, Aceh, located in the westernmost province of Indonesia. The river is a part of human life, like a low-income fisherman, a river is a source of income for him to seek sustenance by catching fish, or keeping fish in a cage and then selling it back when harvested. In addition, the river is also very useful as a place of irrigation channels, recreation areas, transportation facilities, power plants, and also locations for business. In Indonesia, the river region is one of the world's maritime shafts.

This is a moment for me to get the beauty of the sky at dusk with amazing colors in the river area, and this I get when one day was in the river to photograph the activities of traditional fishermen.

Tremendous image! Thank you for sharing with all of us. Tomas

Yeah thank you for your flattery, tomas!🙏🏼

The colors are amazing.

Thanks, hope you enjoy it!

Very warm and colorful photo.

Lake Baikal, Russia

Lake Baikal is one of the most evocative places in the country. Like Russia itself, it is vast and ancient, perhaps one of the oldest lakes in the world. An enormous lake formed by the shifting of tectonic plates, Baikal’s blue depths contain roughly one-fifth of the world’s fresh surface water. It’s staggering in its size and depth, and stunning in its beauty.

That place must be so fierce during winter but yet so beautiful!

The Malaysian island Langkawi is an amazing place to explore by scooter! After one day of driving around the island, I found myself looking at this beautiful sunset, so I stopped on the roadside to capture the silhouette of this mosque in the last light of the day.

That is amazing! Such a great silhouette of the buildings.

Stunning! I love exploring by a scooter when in Asia, spot on.

Stunning warm colors of hot sunset combined with amazing deep red colours of the dunes of United Arab Emirates. Shot taken while safari trip through the dunes on Land Cruisers.
Got short stop closer to sunset to make few shot, pity not so long time to find much better position

Enjoy it!

This was taken on a cruise on the Yangtze River, China. During sunset, the beautiful clouds were turned orange and purple, against a background of layered mountains in the depths of the valley that almost looked blue under the diminishing light. Very beautiful.

What a wonderful entry! Thank you so much.

Thank you Tomas! Really happy that you liked the photo!

Pulau Keluang is an island located in Lamno, Aceh Jaya district, Aceh, Indonesia. This island we can see and enjoy the beauty from the top of Mount Geurutee. And the most beautiful moment is we can see directly the sunset or often called sunset. The beauty of Keluang island we can enjoy in the daytime and at dusk until sunset.

One of the best things to do in Bali is watching the sun light up or down the sky in brilliant hues of pink, orange, and purple as it dips below the horizon with an ice cool drink in hand, of course.
Tanah Lot is one of Bali’s most important landmarks, famed for its unique offshore setting and sunset.

This is the photo I took in Tam Giang Lagoon, Hue, Vietnam. From nowhere, the clouds broke. Shafts of sunlight shone straight down through the break, creating a very spooky effect. It's a very special moment in time that I was incredibly lucky to witness.

Thank you so much for your beautiful submission!

Hong Kong is famous for seafood and there is a place called Li Yue Mun where many locals go. I captured this night view one summer evening after I went there for dinner with my friends. This is an alternate to the stunning skyscaper night view normally seen in Hong Kong
