Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #32 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

What a great place that is. Thank you for sharing with us.

I've posted a photo from this location before but I love it enough to post a new one. This is Wat Chedi Luang, a Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The temple began construction in the 14th Century and took until the mid 15th Century to finish. It really is an incredible piece of architecture that's been standing for almost 700 years! And I loved standing there seeing how it looked in the late day sun.

Nice, it almost looks like a pyramid!

Hongyadong is a entertainment complex at the centre of Chongqing, China, right by the Yangtze River. It is said that in Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away, the spa complex was inspired by Hongyadong. Hongyadong show cases typical Chongqing architecture, where there are multiple access to the main roads at different levels due to the hilly nature of the town - you enter the complex on the 11th floor, and can take the elevator all the way down to the ground floor and then also exit out onto the road. Hongyadong also has lots of market stalls selling traditional Sichuan and Chongqing food and snacks. It is a foodie's paradise, especially if you like chilli.

This is just insane!!! How can I compete with this picture.

Thanks for your compliment!

What a fabulous entry. Thank you so much for that.

Thanks Tomas!

The Marina Bay Sands Hotel is one of Singapores landmarks. Unfortunately it's allowed only for hotel guests to relax at the infinity pool on the top. Nevertheless it's possible for everyone to buy a ticket for the "Skypark" that is located right next to the pool. So you can enjoy the same breathtaking view of Singapores skyline from there!

Oh yeah, that place is unbelievable. What a piece of stunning architecture that is.

Yes, I agree, have a nice day! 🙂

Great Wall of China

This wall is huge, really huge. We wandered on the wall for several hours, up and down, up and down. Restored parts and really old parts which are covered with plants and trees and the stones are loose. When you have the chance to visit the Great Wall do it with a local or small group. You will go to a part which is really remote and you are nearly alone. Not as seen in the youtube videos where there is no space left to walk because of all the visitors.
Have a great week everybody:)

What a magnificent place the China Wall is. I certainly have to make it that way myself at some point.

This photography certainly does not represent a technical feat, but it perfectly embodies an image of Asia with inevitable children, always the first to say hello and the last to make good bye...

Thanks Tomas, this challenge is indeed extraordinary and special! Cheers.

If you visit the Cambodian temples, you will quick realize you are never alone. As I walked in the forest near by Angkor Wat, I spotted many Buddha faces hiding here and there. It is mystical and amazing to see. The Old constructions still standing and watching over you.

Colorful sunset at Alanya, Turkey during my vacation there. The hotel pier and a bit of long exposure to freeze the wave and get some more dynamics to the picture. Pretty stunning colors, again was lucky to catch such

This is a historic building in Banda Aceh.
The mosque which was once hit by the Tsunami in 2004 was a silent witness to the city's civilization and the mosque was also a silent witness to the war during the Sultanate of Iskandarmuda.
until now the mosque is full of historical story is a Tourist icon in the City City dubbed the Serambi Mecca City.
