Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #52 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

See the winner of the last week´s Asian Sunday @amyalfatasya with the following entry:

Enjoy the beauty of the sunset on Saneey beach, Aceh Indonesia. This beach is located far from the capital of the large Aceh district. I took this picture and had to pass a road that was very far from the main road. And the natural scenery on this beach is very beautiful with a combination of mountains and sea.

This is the ceiling of the temple of the sun, in Ritan park, Beijing China.
It is one of the five famous altars of the city built in 1530, which was the venue where the emperors offered sacrifice to the Sun during Ming and Qing Dynasties.
It was devastated then reconstructed in 1951. Since then, we can admire these intricate details.

That sure is a magnificent ceiling. Great capture.

This photo was taken on the beautiful island of Siquijor in the Philippines. Every night we were there the sun would put on one special show before slipping over the horizon.

Sailing across the gigantic boats to bring people from on side of the river to the other without crashing in one of these monsters.
This hard task is everyday life for this men paddling on these small wooden boats.

Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh.

It is amazing how some places in the world do things differently without rushing their lives. Thank you so much for your entry.

Hi im coming with another pic from Vietnam. My Son is a cluster of abandoned and partially ruined Hindu temples in Vietnam, constructed between the 4th and the 14th century AD by the kings of Champa.

Pastoral Landscape
This place locate in the extreme northwestern of China. We call it Baihaba village. There is no industrial pollution. The morning sunshine and air was so transparent. The cows were eating grass. I felt so quiet and peaceful and caught this picture.

It sure looks peaceful and unspoiled. Great place!

Amazing! I love these world photo contest, its like traveling without leaving home! Thanks.

Me too. I learn a lot from this contest.

Wat Ounalom is a wonderful temple at the Riverside promenade in Phnom Penh. I like this picture because it looks like there is a connection between the clouds and the smoke that is coming out of the temple.

1. danau kaolin sunrise- canon (87)-1.jpg

This is Lake Kaolin in Bangka -Balitung.. The lake was formed from the former site of the abandoned mining Kaolin, it has a mesmerizing blue turquoise color. I went here during sunrise, which is the bext time to visit this lake :) Not many other tourists around.

Wow, what a beautiful color combination! Well done.

Taung Kwe Pagoda in Loikaw, Myanmar

During the end of my trip to Myanmar last month, I decided to head to Loikaw, a destination that has not made it to the tourist map yet. In fact, I did not see one other westerner there! Loikaw is surrounded by temples melting in to the karst landscape such as this temple built on top of a karst mountain.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

Irbid, Jordan
I took this picture near Irbid in the north east of Jordan. From this spot you can see 3 countries which surround that peak - Libanon, Syria and Israel. Even its a very hot area with not much rain there is still some vegetation with all kind of different plants and trees. Amazing spot to visit!

Thank you so much for your wonderful entry. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas

Thanks Tomas !! :))

Night Abu-Dhabi

Talking about United Arab Emirates (UAE) guess most of the people thinks at once about Dubai. Indeed the city is just mesmerizing and putting a lot of investments into some crazy architecture and other projects (like just started to build space port recently)
But in fact, Abu-Dhabi is the Emirate which holds over than 90% of all oil of UAE. This means it is much much more richer than Dubai. But you can't see it when visually comparing two of them.

It doesn't have so many skyscrapers, but still few and they are enough to make some interesting photos. So here we go with this night shot

Enjoy the scenery!
