Hello fellow Steemians!
I am starting the week #57 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.
If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

Konfuzius Temple in Beijing
In 2017 we visited China for the first time. Starting our trip in Beijing was great because friend's showed us around in this incredible city. One of our stops was the Konfuzius Temple. The temple is over 700 years old and is the second largest in the country. You walk through a various halls, which increase in size every time. Fore sure the temple complex is worth a visit while in Beijing!
Enjoy your sunday!
Thank you so much for your participation! Have a great day. Tomas
Ruea Hang Yao
Better known as Long-Tail Boat is a pretty narrow boat which is mainly used in Thailand. A typical Long-Tail Boat isn´t much wider then 1,80m and longer then 14-18m. It is used for passenger transport on rivers or to get from one beach to another. You can see them everywhere around Thailand and they can´t be overseen as they are mostly pretty colorful.
Thank you so much for your entry.
Food Stall at Keelung Night Market, Taiwan
Night markets are my favourite thing about Taiwan and the Keelung Miaokou night market is nothing less than spectacular. After a day of exploring the area, sampling local snacks at this fantastic night market was a great end to the day.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.
It sure is fascinating to check local foods anywhere in Asia. I am not always that adventures though to eat in the streets, lol.....
Eating street food always bears the risk of getting the worst travel sickness of your life.. But I love trying different street food so much that it is totally worth the risk for me! Besides, in Taiwan I have had no problems at all so far.
Shot from a hotel bar in Shinagawa. It's looking North towards Tokyo Tower (332.9 metres or 1,092 ft). At the time of construction in 1958 Tokyo Tower was the tallest freestanding tower in the world, taking the title from the Eiffel Tower by 13 metres. Depending on where you draw the boundaries there are between 9 million and 38 million people living in Tokyo. The prefecture forms part of the world's most populous metropolitan area of 37.8 million people.
OMG, that is way too many people.... It sure is not easy to live in a place like that. What a great click!
Thanks
That shot definitely makes me want to visit that place. Awesome view!
Thanks buddy! Oh please, go there as soon as you can! Trust me, it's such an unique place in Asia. Its really incredible! @betterthanhome
maybe next year. next is Australia again.
It sure does look amazing!
Absolutely, Thanks Tomas!
In the house of Sunset
Today we are coming back again to Tel-Aviv and its quite stormy week in February few years ago. At first sight pretty straightforward shot just straight to the sun, but actually the most tricky one not to lose too much details of sun while overexposing. Not to mention nice reflection and drama in the sky and, yes, finally pretty stunning colors.
Looks like amazingly warm golden sunset, but in fact was very cold (as for Israel) and windy
Enjoy the scenery!

You can feel the drama from the image itself. What a great capture.
This is the Ruiguang Pagoda in Suzhou near Shanghai. Pic is from 2009 & I came across the pagoda probably just by accident when I was walking around town. The pagoda is supposed to be the oldest one in Suzhou, built in 247, made from brick & wood & roughly 43 meters high.
My complete post is here.
BTW, if you're ever in Shanghai, be sure to make a trip to Suzhou. It's worth it.
Great click, thank you so much for your participation.
One month to travel to Asia again, will be abe to share a lot more photos in the near future! :) Meanwhile, here goes another photo taken in last visit to Turkey. A wider view of the beautiful landscape of cappadocia, taken in Goremé national park.
Sounds good to me:)
Dhaka's backstreet really are a great photographer's playground. So many amazing scene are happening and life is just going non stop. Here under this fantastic arch, men carrying basket on their head are walking through with in mind to find new customers in need of a porter.
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh.
I am just always fascinated with the way of life of other nations. This image captures it perfectly.
This is an abstract rock mountain near Saneey aceh beach. This beach is located in Lhong Aceh Besar District. take a long distance to reach this place .. the panorama of nature at sunset on the beach is very beautiful with a blend of neatly arranged rocks
Stunner as always! Thank you so much.
