Hello fellow Steemians!
Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!
Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.
See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @rinawonderlands with the following entry:
Last time i was in Queenstown, i went to visit my friends in their house. During sunset time, i saw this amazing sunset from their balcony. It's impossible to not taking pictures of this beauty. You can see the scenic lake Wakatipu with the snow capped mountains on the backgrounds.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

Concrete Jungle, Hongkong. I took this shot a few years ago on my stay in Hongkong. The location was on the Victoria Peak (30 min hike for a stunning view) which was absolutely worth visiting.

Recently I got to visit Mt Hutt in New Zealand for my first snow trip. On my 2nd day I thought I had a hang of snow boarding, so I caught the chair lift to the top of the mountain and snapped this photo. Once I started to go down the mountain I realised my skills were not up to scratch at all. A few crashes and about 45min later I made it to the bottom of the mountain. Good times.
More like "mt shut"...
Sorry had to say it. Cool photo!
Haha yeah I was there for 3 days and 2 of them the top of the mountain was shut due to the wind
Hahahahaha!
ps. Following you now!
Following back
Sweet! Cheers!
What a truly spectacular view!
It sure is an amazing view from up there.
Awesome shot. I would love to try snowboarding down this beast.
Cheers! It was alot of fun !
Wandering the shores of Karekare beach, not far from Auckland's CBD, is a great way to spend a sunny winters day. The beautiful black sand beach is one of the top beaches in the world according to Passport Magazine.
Wow, what an image!
Cape Ottway
Australia is the only country in the world where these cute little creatures live. If there is one place in Australia where you almost got a 100% chance to see a Koala, it is on the Great Ocean Road on the Cape Ottway.
What a little cuties!
Whitehaven Beach, Queensland
The pristine white sand makes Whiteheaven beach on the Whitsundays the most beautiful beach that I have ever visited. While the beach is overrun with tourists arriving by boat tours from Airlie Beach during the day, but staying on the National Park campground located on the beach for two nights was an incredible experience.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.
Thank you so much for your continuous support and participation.
Gunbarrel highway, West Australia
Select an outback self-drive route and hit the open road on the outback driving holiday of a lifetime. It is a great way to experience the breathtaking scenery. Be well prepared and enjoy.
Thank you so much for your submission. Tomas
The opera House and the harbour bridge view from the botanic gardens during night time. Sydney is such a great city and the rock is the place to hang out.
The opera house structure is just breathtaking and so intriguing, it is a great architectural piece!
Location: Sydney, Australia.
Wow, that is out of this world. Quite spectacular!
Narrabeen Headland at the northern end of Narrabeen beach on Sydney's northern beaches under milky way light.
Narrabeen beach is a well known surfing beach and has some epic barrels on a good day. The northern end can get quite busy but you can usually find yourself and uncrowded spot the further south you head.
You do not participate much but when you do it is a spectacular image. Well done!
Haha thanks yeah i wish i could dedicate more time to my steemit account! I try to get over and get amongst your competition whenever i can. It is definitely my favorite on Steemit!
The East Coast of the South Island of New Zealand
Ah the East Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. One of the most beautiful mountain and seascapes on Earth? Yes! Here you can see green mountains and rocky coastline, all in a happy warm setting (well until a southerly comes by)...

Snowy Mountains, New South Wales, Australia, , known informally as "The Snowies", is an IBRA subregion and the highest mountain range on the continent of mainland australia. It contains the Australian mainland's highest mountain,
Kindly clarify @snowyknight's question... Thank you so much.
Hey Tomas, not trying to start a fight with anyone here. I love these contests!
But in the above photo, this is from Asia or South America. There are no mountains anything like this in Australia nor in New Zealand.
Here is a photo of the highest mountain in Australia for comparison which is in the Snowy mountains.

Cheers!
Hi! I definitely appreciate when other users are vigilent and helpful, good call @snowyknight
