Országház the seat of the Hungarian Parliament, located in Budapest on the banks of the Danube. Országház is the symbols of Hungary and one of the oldest government buildings in Europe. The building is 268 meters long and 123 meters wide. The outer walls are decorated with 88 sculptures of Hungarian rulers and warlords. They look up to the 96m high neo-Renaissance dome. This number has a symbolic meaning, reminiscent the date of arrival of the Hungarians in their homeland in 896.

The Soca river in Slovenia offers really beautiful views. This view of the Soca river canyon is from Napoleon Bridge near the town of Kobarid. The old Napoleon Bridge with a single made of stone was built in 1750.

Dobrogea Gorges - a place that reminds me of one of the many canyons from Arizona, where every rock is considered alive and as soon as it breaks and falls apart is being used by people for unique jewellery pieces :)

On the trail of the ancient aqueduct (dated 1537) that served the city of Évora (Alentejo region, Southern Portugal), we can find magical places worthy of a fairy tale, which definitely have a mystical aura...

View of Gjirokaster, Albania

Gjirokaster is a historic town in Albania that features a beautiful old town in Ottoman-style architecture. From the castle high above town I captured this shot of the ancient houses.

The town of Tavira Portugal is surrounded by salt marshes which it is possible to walk back and forth and across thanks to the paths laid out on the salt flats. You can see small crabs in quantity along the paths.

Taken at St Peter's Square in the Vatican City a few years ago. If I remember correctly, the chairs were there in preparation for a mass gathering to meet the Pope in the coming days. Without the chairs, it was really quite difficult to image how big the square is.

End of the day riding slopes in Baqueira-beret, a ski station in the spanish pyrenees. There's a big deck with a lot of chairs as these, perfect for relaxing and viewing the sunset after a day well spent!
