Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.

The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 20 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting the winner announcement posts below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Asian Sunday week #17 – winner announcement!

@narchuk Asian Sunday entry:

At the Philippines I go to dive, most of the day I spend in the water or on a boat. Do not forget the night dive. As a result, I have very little time for sunrises and sunsets.
This time we returned from diving, and I watched the sun go down into the ocean. It happened at the moment when the boat hit the shore. I had to jump right into the water together with the underwater box. I did not have time to get another camera.
I was lucky. In addition to the beautiful sunset, I saw a turtle swimming alongside. A few minutes before it was dark, we swam together.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #17 – winner announcement!

@mibreit-photo Australian Monday entry:

Here's my favorite photo from New Zealand. I took it a year ago in Tongariro National Park. It was quite cloudy as we arrived in the Park and we couldn't see the peaks yet. But I hiked to Tama Lakes anyways, hoping for a change. As the clouds then broke and revealed Mount Ruapehu it was an awesome sight.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Tuesday of Antarctica and world´s oceans week #17 – winner announcement!

@axeman Tuesday of Antarctica and world´s oceans entry:

Volcanoes in Baltic? What? You would say impossible? Well, that depends on the point of view in fact. Shot at very cold winter evening (if remember right was some -20 degrees) and with very low shooting point and extra wide lens. So visually its really looks like a volcano :D Enjoy the scenery!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #17 – winner announcement!

@pierrehugo African Wednesday entry:

As the drought becomes more apparent in the South African winter, two male Zebras compete in a dramatic display of kicking, biting and rearing up onto their hind legs. It was a great sighting to witness over half an hour. The result of such behavior led to a big dust cloud every time they attempted to establish dominance. This shot was taken in the famous Kruger National Park, which is a compulsory visit should you be traveling to this exquisite part of the world.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – European Thursday week #17 – winner announcement!

@jpphotography European Thursday entry:

Charles Bridge, Prague, Czech Republic. I am sure you know this view very well: The Charles Bridge is one of Prague's most beautiful sights. When I was wandering through Prague in the evening, I saw this beautiful view and since I did not carry a tripod I looked for a wall to put my camera on to capture this long exposure.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – North American Friday week #17 – winner announcement!

@remedium North American Friday entry:

Recently took a trip to the Utah national parks. Took this photo at the famous Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park just after sunrise. The sun is just behind the arch, creating a fascinating glow under the arch. Used Photomerge function with photoshop for creating the panorama image.

Before visiting Cartagena, Colombia I had heard such wonderful things about the city. And yup, they were all right. The bright and vibrant colors of the colonial style buildings in the Walled City of Old Cartagena are so incredibly beautiful. There's also so much activity going on in this area from bars and restaurants to historic landmarks. It's one of those cities I'd recommend to anyone to go visit.

Cartagena is a cultural heritage, beautiful photo

Great picture Matt, thank you for sharing with evryone. Have a great Sunday. Tomas

Just came across this photo challenge and since I've got a lot of shots from South America it'd be a shame not to post one :D

Piedras Rojas, Chile

This photo was taken about 200 kilometers away from San Pedro de Atacama on the edge of the altiplano. I don't think I've ever seen such a weird landscape. The color contrast is just awesome :-)

I also just did a post about it with some more photos if you want to check it out.

I visited this spot two years ago. Such a unreal landscape!

Thank you so much for your submission! Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on today. Tomas

My evening jog at the empty Playa Negra Beach in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. The beach stretches for long miles, which makes it an excellent spot for jogging as well as romantic walks, especially during beautiful colorful sunset like this one. Photo taken in September 2017.

What a great place for an evening jog! Thank you for sharing with all of us. Tomas

This image shows a dirt road through the Andes mountains. In the background you can see several vulcanoes. I took this image on a trip to the Altiplano high plateau in Chile. You can drive up to a stunning altitude of over 4000m by car. It was one of the greatest experiences in my life to drive in this vast deserted landscape without seeing other cars for hours.

Amazing shot! Love the Altiplano - it calms me down instantly. Did you see loads of llamas on your way? Isn’t Chile a traveler and photographer’s dream, haha, I feel so lucky to have lived there and traveled through the country =)

In this area where no Llamas because there are no villages around. But I saw a lot of their wild relatives: Vicunas. They are smaller and slimmer. I also saw wild donkeys...
Yes, Chile is great. I really want to return soon. You have lived at a lot of different places, right? ;)

Yes I’ve been lucky :D Vicuñas are more rare and elegant - you remind me of posting a photo of them at altiplano next time! ;) I feel like writing about llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and guanacos after some trials and errors in South America :p

I'm looking forward for your post about those cute animals ;) I have a nice photo of a vicuna, I think I will use it next south america day here at this contest...

What a wonderful landscape and an amazing pic. Thank you so much for sharing with everyone. Tomas

The most adrenaline thing I have done:) My biggest fears turned into one of the best experiences I have ever had. My bf took this photo on zip line in Costa Rica rainforest last year. I felt free like a bird.

The Shutterstock photo of the Iguazu Falls inspired me to submit this photo that I shot at these impressive waterfalls. In the afternoon most of the tourists were gone and I had the falls almost to myself. This was when I captured this view of the calm reflection of the powerful falls.

Stunning as always! How could you get the Falls to yourself? =) I stayed a long time there and it’s always full of people.

I stayed there until they closed and everyone left in the early afternoon :D
I took this photo at 5:30pm and at 6pm they told me to leave because they were closing the park :D

What an incredible site the Iguazu Falls are. I hope to make it there myself one day. Tomas

Thanks! You should, it is an amazing place!

Bolivia is one of my favorite places on the planet in terms of photogenic destination. I’m amazed by its vibrant native culture and breathtaking wild nature. This photo was shot in Southwest Bolivia, close to Chilean border.

What a great image. Thank you for sharing with everyone. Have a great day and stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas

Till now I mostly posted landscape photos here. Today I'll try my luck with a photo of a land Iguana of the Galapgos Islands. I took this photo during a day tour to South Plaza Island, which is where those beautiful creatures dwell. They look like little Godzillas.

Yes, something little different from you but still an amazing pic!

Excellent shot. I love iguanas! I cant stop taking photos of them here in Mexico :)

Hi there, @czechglobalhosts! Thanks fot he amazing challenge! It has been providing us amazing content. Here is my entry for the South American Saturday 17! Hope you enjoy it.

Praia do Leão, Fernando de Noronha, Brazil

Located about 400km offshore from Brazil, the 13km-long island of Fernando de Noronha is best known for its breathtaking beaches. This photo is in the Praia do Leão (Lion's beach), and it is only accessible by boat or by a 30-minutes walk. The two islands in the center are full of corals and animals, as diving showed me sharks, lobsters, and several fishes.

Thank you very much, Tomas! Thank you for creating such amazing contests!

Took this at the beautiful Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. I love finding amazing remote places like this one where you can sit back and listen to the small sounds of nature. Guatemala has a lot to offer and was pleasantly surprised during my visit.
