Cave in Torotoro, Bolivia. Torotoro National Park near Cochabamba is one of the hidden gems of Bolivia. While the national park is mostly famous for dinosaur footprints, it is also home to some amazing hikes and caves that local guides offer tours to. I managed to capture this long-exposure while the guide was lightning up the cave with a torch.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans week #104 – winner announcement!

@jpphotography Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:

Hill Inlet Lookout at Whitsunday Island, Australia. The spectacular hill inlet lookout on Whitehaven beach on Whitsunday Island is visited by many cruises departing from Airlie Beach. That was nothing for me, so when I found out that there is a national park campground at the beach, I took a ferry there, camped for a few days and swam through the Inlet with my camera in a waterproof bag early in the morning before the tourists arrived, taking in the panoramic views by myself.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – North American Friday week #104 – winner announcement!

@itchyfeetdonica North American Friday entry:

I visited this famous Maya structure - the Temple of Kukulkan at the Chichén Itzá archaeological site in the Yucatán state of Mexico. The triangular shadows casted on it around the Spring and Autumn equinoxes represent the feathered serpent god, and clapping in front of it mimics the sound of the Quetzal bird.

Close up of a beautiful tropical parrot living freely in a garden in Salento, a picturesque little town that is a gateway to the famous Cocora Valley, a stunning valley located in the Colombian Andes.

Playa bianca, near Cartagena in Colombia. Not the best place to be in Colombia. Overcrowded, jetskis everywhere, pushy salespeople... It could be beautiful but it is victim of its success. My advice, move away from the crowd and enjoy the beach.

Sunset and piles

Beautiful sunset with the contrast of the lifting of steel piles for the construction of the third bridge, over the majestic Orinoco River in the town of Caicara del Orinoco, Bolivar Venezuela, a work that has been unfinished for several years

Beautiful sunset at Playa Mansa. Lechería-Venezuela.
Playa Mansa is an ideal place to enjoy beautiful sunsets, I love nature, and to be able to observe this cosmic design fills me with greatness, I am fascinated by these yellow and orange colors that show us the golden hour, it is magical for me.

Sunset in Country Club.

I captured him this evening while going for a walk with my family. I love sunsets especially when orange and yellow colors are highlighted. Sunset behind bars also looks good.

Peru is the perfect place for any nature lovers. The landscape, the national park and the hikes available are many and varied. The Inca trail is one of the best known, but they are so many more. Here is a small isolated house on the Machu Picchu mountain.

The rays emanating from the sun hiding and the mysterious plants in the twilight of the sunset make up a strange complicity and the sun looks like a beautiful flower that leaves the leaves. Sometimes I become a poet when I am facing a sunset and my mind becomes very creative. Many times when I climb this hill, located in the northern coastal area of the state of Anzoátegui, Venezuela
