Exploring the Roraima's summit. Being on a gigantic 2800+ meters rock with 95% vertical or even negative angled walls all around provided the perfect conditions for us to see some awesome weird weather phenomens like this ascending cloud that got condensed and created abeautiful inverted rainbow. @porestelente pictured on the edge.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #36 - winner announcement!

@jayclar30 Australian Monday entry:

This is Natural Bridge but is sometimes called Natural Arch. It is a stunning waterfall found in Springbrook National Park in Queensland, Australia. I was blessed the day we visited, we had been there for a little while and I had already taken a heap of photos but then the sun found an area through the trees to shine through making my photos all the better. The reflection from the sun on the water was reflecting up onto the roof of the cave highlighting it's fabulous textures and colours.

Next frame from "Endangered Species" series. Pretty long exposure shot of a beautiful sunset at the Baltic Sea coast, nearby the gates to the port of Klaipeda. Pretty stormy skies, but still with touch of colors from the dawning sun at the horizon. A long piece of wood as a perfect foreground leading the eye to the endless sea. Enjoy the scenery!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - North American Friday week #36 - winner announcement!

@crazy-andy North American Friday entry:

On the photo below you can see one of many amazing USA State Parks. This one is located in Utah and I have visited it on my first trip to USA in 2014. There is a funny anecdote from this year’s Utah visit, when we also planned to visit it, but then we realized just few miles before the park, that we don’t have enough fuel and turn around. We came back to Moab’s gas station with fuel for only 4 miles left. So it was a smart decision at the end.

Salar de Uyuni
The Uyuni salt flat is a must see in South America in my opinion. Located in southwest Bolivia, it is the world’s largest salt flat. You can access it from the city of Uyuni, by bus or with a local tour. I went there at the beginning of April. I was lucky enough to see the mirror effect, which isn't there the whole year, only during the rain season, you can admire this miracle of the nature.

Seeing the pics from that place are making me want to go there. Let's see when:).... Great entry!

Unlike most travelers who reached Torres del Paine National Park by land transportation from Puerto Natales of Chile, I arrived there through Rio Serrano by a ship and a small boat, and after a short hike upon landing, I captured this amazing view:

T

This is so awesome! Those mountains look cool.

Thanks Wes! That place looks like an oil painting. :)

Tremendous! Thank you so much for sharing and welcome back:)......

Thank you Tomas! Glad to be back from the crazy hectic days! =)

This photo was taken some years ago in the mountains near Caracas (Venezuela). During some days of the year this heavy fog is common at those heights. The altitude where this photo was taken was more than 1800 meter above sea level. In this rural areas near Caracas is common to see people using horses and donkeys as way of transport.

The fog is giving the image great sense of mystery. Fantastic!

I am glad that you liked the photo.

One of the highlights of Cuba is the Spanish colonial town of Havana, with its art deco architecture and vintage American cars. I particularly loved the contrasts on the streets. You see houses crumbled, but also beautifully renovated buildings in their historic style, people's poverty but at the same time a street full of music and liveliness, full of joy.

What a fantastic entry. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on today. Tomas

Thank you Tomas! Nice contests you are running.

Here is a blue hour view of the cathedral looming over the Plaza de Bolivar in Manizales, Colombia. The statue on the column to the right of the cathedral is the liberator Simon Bolivar represented naked and with the wings and the head of a condor.

Valdez Beach on the Isla de Margarita - Venezuela can surprise us with each shot in the same sunset. This fishing port is a tranquil paradise of peaceful and deep waters with diverse tonalities and little vegetation around it.

What a lovely view!

Location: Gavidia, Estado Merida, Venezuela.
Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50

This beautiful photograph was taken near the town of Gavidia, Mucuchies, Merida State, Venezuela. In an environment of glacial origin, which presents metamorphic features by the process of descent of the Andes. It is more than 3,500 meters above sea level. Beautiful metamorphic rocks observed along this road, besides innumerable lagoons and high mountain vegetation abound in this beautiful Andean landscape.

Look like a great hike in an amazing nature. Great job!

SUNSET WITH FERRY IN THE ORINOCO RIVER

I present a beautiful sunset with the ferry moving people and cars from Cabruta Guárico to Caicara del Orinoco. Caicara is the capital of the municipality of Cedeño, state of Bolívar, Venezuela. Founded on April 20, 1771. The photograph was taken from the port, where you can see the wonderful sunrises and sunsets every day. With a population of 66,315 inhabitants, the city is located west of the Bolívar state, on the shores of the Orinoco river

Camera: Kool Digital

You can never go wrong with the sunset pic:)... Well done!

Thanks Tom, that's right, I love sunsets and sunrises

Aguas de Moises, Casanay, Sucre.jpg

"Aguas de Moises Park, Casanay, Sucre, Venezuela"

The tourist complex is an oasis made up of 9 pools of spring water of blue color, white sand and mud with healing properties, surrounded by gardens of olive green and flowers of multiple colors. These lagoons are made up of waters that come from wells with crystalline sulfur, in them they decant large quantities of medicinal mud of high contents of calcium, sulfur, potassium and with ideal temperature to swim and play in the water.

That is making me want to go on vacation straight away:)......

Well you tell me and here you will be very welcome my friend @czechglobalhosts
