View on Bay of Islands, New Zealand. Bay of Islands is an area dotted with more than 100 beautiful small islands off the shores of the North Island. Bay of Islands is a popular destination; This photo is from one of the best viewpoints on one of the larger islands, accessible only by boat.

@mitchtokita Asian Sunday entry:

Waiting for the sun to rise behind himalayan mountains from poon hill... a particular moment! Many Trekkers sleep in Ghorepani a village near Poon Hill and get up early to see the sunrise above the 8000nds Dhaulagiri (8167 m) and Annapurna. It's awesome.

El Morro is the 16th – 17th century castle that guards the entrance to the Havana Bay. If you’re walking down the Malecon, you’ll see the castle across the sea. A symbol of Havana’s maritime past, the castle today is used as a museum.

Ferry connecting the main island of Malta with its sister island of Gozo passing by the island of Comino on a beautiful sunny day. Malta is a tiny island country located in the middle of the Mediterannean Sea.

Endangered Species - The colors madness

Stunning colorful sunset at the coast of Baltic Sea, Lithuania. A touch of long exposure and again, some nice piece of rope as a foreground. Again reminding some strange creature from the depths of the sea...

Enjoy the scenery!

The ice that calve off glaciers form huge floating icebergs that slowly drift with ocean currents until they melt into the sea. As temperatures warm this will result in sea levels rising.

Mui Ne Beach, Vietnam

Just metres away from my hostel in Mui Ne, located on a beach in the local fishing village, chicken are running along with kids while fishermen are preparing their boats. From this beach I watched one of the most beautiful sunsets of my trip.

Let my introduce you to a hidden paradise near the Panama Canal,
This endangered group of Islands is called San Blas, one of the first places to disappear due to rising sea levels. More than 365 Islands belong to the Kuna tribes, a more or less independent minority of native fishermen who is know in control of tourism of this area. Tiny Island with nothing more than a few palm trees and clear water surrounding them. This place completely blew my mind.

There is not much left of old Thira, but the location is beautiful. The ancient city is perched on a narrow limestone ridge linking Mount Profitis Ilias to Mesa Vouno, overlooking the sea. Founded in the 9th century BC By the Dorians, this natural fortress reached its peak under the Ptolemies, but declined under the Romans, before being abandoned in the 13th century.

Imagine you fly in a Hot Air Ballon off the coast of Okinawa and see this. Is it Paradise? Too small to build a summer house? Or is it just enough for you and your prince or princess? May be not right because its too small, but hey its so beautiful. For a few days to forget all worries of work and life?

This is more about your Imagination. What could that little Island in the middle of nowhere be for you? What do you see?

Borneo island beach

This seashore is situated along Sabah's beach. Very calming and tranquilizing with good view of the sunset.
In Sabah, we are blessed with beautiful seashore and also small islands. There are more beautiful places you can see in Sabah sich as Sipadan, or Simpang Mengayau.
