RE: Day 19: Hitchhike to the Gobi Desert

in #travel6 years ago

What an adventure! What was the temperature there during the day? I've heard that it drops heavily during the night.

You were lucky with the transport :) That car with a driver sounds a little expensive but then at least you feel a little more safe with the local person (I guess). It's nice that she was looking for you :)

Those photos are stunning and it indeed must look beautiful in the spring or after the rain. And I really like the photo with your tent during night. Are there no wild animals? Oh, and that guy who just stopped by, smoked a cigarette and left was funny :) I wonder why he did it..

Thank you for sharing your adventure with us :)

Thanks @delishtreats! It was pretty warm in the day, around 5 degrees or so, maybe even warmer sometimes. As for wild animals, there aren't too many and most of them are critically endangered...same story as the rest of the planet... We were told that there are wolves, but the don't roam in packs and lone wolves are extremely unlikely to attack a human.

Thanks for reading!

We also have many wolves where I'm from and it is indeed true that they are unlikely to attach a human in general. But I think it also depends on how hungry they are :)
