I've seen many photos of this place. It's unforgettable because as you said, everything is flat and then you have this huge rock growing right from the ground..
It looks like you had a blast and all the effort to get there was worth it. I've never been to such a complex with many various accommodation options. I think I would however go for a hotel room as shared bathrooms wouldn't be my thing :)

Thanks for your comment :) I sure did have a blast and was a great time with the fam. I too usually prefer hotels but just got back from a 3 week camping safari and am now used to the shared bathroom facilities haha... in future though, back to hotels ;)
