The mountain Veľký Rozsutec - one of the highest and probably the most characteristic peak in the so-called Krivan part of Little Fatra. here is the sunrise caught just after 4.05 AM

The #mountain Veľký Rozsutec rises in the north-eastern part of Mala Fatra, in its main ridge separating the Vratna valley (with the Vrátňanka stream) to the west of the Biela stream valley (tributary Zázrivka) in the east...

The #top of the mountain is in the form of a three-legged crossroad. The southern ridge falls steeply towards the wide saddle of Medziholie (1185 m). The #northern ridge descends a bit milder towards the Medzirozsutce pass (1200 m). Both passes are forestless, covered with meadows rich in plant species.

Veľký Rozsutec peak is provided by the red marked tourist trail, traversed by the top of the #mountain from the Medziholie pass to the Medzirozsutka pass.

Moreover the Veľký Rozsutec peak is a great vantage point for the surrounding valleys. Panorama from it includes not only closer mountain groups, such as #Malá Fatra, #Big Fatra, Choczańskie #Mountains or #Magura #Orawska, but it reaches up to the Jabłonkowska Pass in the #Silesian #Beskids on one side and the peak of the Tatra Mountains on the other.
