Hello!
I would like to kick off my first actual Steemit blog post with my recent travel destination: Auckland, New Zealand.
I've always thought of doing solo traveling and destinations that always come to mind are like Cambodia and Vietnam, but due to the safety scores of solo-traveling to 3rd world countries for a female traveller seem unfavourable, I then resorted to going to New Zealand instead.
Since New Zealand is rated as one of the safest countries for a female traveler, I decided to take a leap of faith and booked a flight, and the rest is history.
If you're deciding to travel to Auckland anytime soon or in the future, I've listed down a few places to visit and dine along with personal tips on getting your money's worth.
Auckland City : Queens Street, Auckland Sky Tower and Viaduct.

Mount Eden
It's so pretty, isn't it? For all the non-hikers out there, don't worry. This is an easy hike that only takes approximately 15-20 minutes, and you can easily earn yourself an incredible view like this. It will make your day like how it did to me.
Coffee at Revel Cafe
With an extra 50 cents (from the large size), you can get a big bowl of coffee! And trust me, the coffee is legit.
Oyster and Chop, Viaduct
Suggestion: They offer happy hour price for drinks and oysters between 4-7pm daily. Can you believe the best oysters I've had in my life only cost $2 each? It's unbelievable!
Desserts at Mian

Try the Britomart branch as it has a larger and prettier setting! Their hot chocolate and desserts will leave you wanting for more.
Waiheke Island
The haven of beautiful and gourmet cuisines.
One Tree Hill
