WHY SUMMER IS FUN

"The tans will fade but the memories last forever".
This must be the most popular quote ever used in the internet and one of my favorite qoute that best describe summer.

Summer is the most awaited season of the year. Why? Because it is the time where you can spend more time with your friends and loved ones where we can finally chill ourselves from all the worries and stress. No more projects, no more deadliest deadlines, no more anxious moments thinking what would be the result of your final grades, and most of all no more waking up early.

Every summer many of us are expecting to spend their vacation basically at the beach to beat the heat. But the question is, are you going out this summer? Will your parents allow you to travel alone? or with your friends? Are you going to spend your summer at the beach? Or climbing the highest mountain peaks? Or maybe, you'll just stay at home and spend your whole summer vacation watching movies, and having food trips together with your family.
But if you'll ask me, maybe it's time to turn your sketches into reality and explore what summer has to offer.

My first stop last summer was at West Town Lagoon Resort located in Metro Cebu. The resort features man made lagoons and Jacuzzis where guests can soak away the stress they feel after a hell week at work. Since it is located close to the boundary between Cebu City and Mandaue City, the resort is perfect for people who want to take a break over the weekend without having to travel far from the city. The staffs are very welcoming, accompany us with a big warm smiles. I immediately fell in love by the place, their infinity pool is breathtaking with a mini bar at the center where you can drink, and relax while watching the beautiful scenery.

At exact 10 am we started to take a dip to beat the heat, we also brought our cameras with us and took as many photos as we like, from taking selfies to groupies. An hour later of appreciating the place, we decided to leave the pool to eat our lunch because we're starving. The food is ready and  mouthwatering. We choose to bought foods outside the resort because it cost a lot cheaper than buying foods inside. At around 2 pm, the scourging of the heat embraced our skin as we enjoyed playing around the pool getting tanned. Thereafter, around 4 pm we decided to took a shower and fix ourselves. My friends wants to have a quick group picture before going home.

As I arrived home, I suddenly noticed in the mirror the sun-kissed skin and the tan lines I've got, and with a smile I said, "I had a great time today".

Spending summer in different places would be fun, but in order to be fun you don't have to spend thousands of money just to make your summer exciting. There are many places to visit that would serve you best but a lot cheaper and it would be more exciting when you spend it with your family or with the person you want to be with.
