We are having this lovely hotel breakfast with my bestest friend @escapist before we start our journey towards Helsinki and Budapest. It’s wonderful to travel with a person who wants to see the same kind of things and appreciate the beauty of different cultures.

🤢 Yeah, this lifestyle blogging is clearly not my thing... let’s get back on track!

We are lazy bitches on holiday and wanted to start this off right and make a master plan before leaving. We haven’t really made any decisitions of what to do and see and when, and we probably won’t. We do have some fun things brewing though ;)

We like to go to a new place and just start walking and seeing if we find anything interesting, and we always do. Making decidion in every street corner, seeing which way looks the most promising. We have a good sense of direction but at some point Maps has to locate us and quide back to the civilazion.

If anyone is in Budapest, how’s the weather?

I still have time to throw in some summer clothes to the suitcase...

Sort:

really healthy breakfast! and have a nice trip to Budapest :-)

Ach, I envy the both of you for your trip to Budapest! The city is best explored by just walking around and taking a random turn. There are many, many lovely spots. Not sightseeing spots, but just simple streets and buildings that have a big charm!

As there were just elections have a look out for demonstrations on the main places of the city. It might get pretty passionate.

A tip: Visit the Cafe Gerbeaud! it is a famous cafe and the dishes are addictive (especially the diplomat pudding!!) Eating at local restaurants can be a better treat than the more expensive touristy spots. Taking a walk down the Donau Promenade (especially at night) is also a treat. Visit the Margarete Island (it's pretty) and the one next to it (if you are up for celebrating).

Oh, basically just enjoy the city at your leisure. It is a wonderful city and there is enough to discover without having to rush anything.

Have fun!

PS: Köszönöm means thank you and jó napot kívánok means Good day. That should get you quite far :)

Thank you for the suggestions, we'll definitely go to some of those places :) We usually stay away from the biggest tourist attractions and big crowds so I hope we'll be alright! :D

There should be a lot of beautiful old buildings and nice cafe's everywhere, those with some sunshine and that is all we need :)

Travelling makes you explore new things.
Lovely breakfast and unplanned trips often end up beautifully since you haven't planned yet what to see, what to do and the like.

Enjoy 🌼

Good.... I hope there is good day :) and your weather is warm :)

Good Trip! the weather should be good the next days. Temperatures around 22 degrees Celsius

Ah, sounds amazing! It's cold and rainy in Finland at the moment...

here in Germany it should give the next days a lot of sunshine and in Hungary it should be exactly like that. So best travel weather.

That's a great breakfast one..This is delicious food..I hope that you passing good day...
Cheers..!!!

Dont know about Budapest but in Estonia it is summer, +20C. 6 days ago it was snowstorm lol. Oh and have a nice trip!

Damn, it's so close, yet so far away from us 😂

I would love to visit Budapest. How long are you going for?

A little less than a week, but I think it's a fair time to see a good part of the city :)

Best of luck on your Helsinki and Budapest trips, @eveuncovered! You're off to some of the most beautiful places on earth. :)

If nobody started making a movie about you two lazy bitches yet they better start soon. 'cause the pictures that comes into one's head when reading about your traveling plans and adventures are real gold XD

Well you are the one who knows the movie people, make it happen!
