This small community is nestled up against the Cascade Mountains at the mouth of the Methow River, where it flows into the mighty Columbia River. What could be any better than a paradise that offers it all. Summers offer beautiful sunny days, while winters are white with abundant snowfall. You will find rivers and lakes for all those water activities that you love so much. The beautiful Cascade Mountains are abundant with trails and mountains to climb. Fish jump from all the beautiful streams, rivers, and lakes. If you love to get out in nature, you will love Pateros.

After a pleasant day on the river and  a wonderful dinner, what could be better than to watch the sunset and enjoy the river by the light of the moon? With beautiful mountains and hills surrounding this quaint community, you could easily spend a week or more just enjoying some of the finest gifts of nature.  There are even those who come to relax for a couple of weeks and never leave. Pateros is just one of those communities that make it hard to leave.

If all the beautiful gifts of nature were not enough, you will find fruit trees with their abundant fruit just waiting for you to reach out and eat. From Spring till the end of Fall you will see trees laden with fruit. Why not grab a box of cherries or delicious apples to go? Who knows, maybe grandma will bake a homemade pie.
