India Trip - Goa to Hampi Pt. 4
Hey guys,
I'am FULLY recovered.
Thats why we decided to go for the temple across the river.
The Virupaksha Temple (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virupaksha_Temple) which is part of the group of monuments in Hampi and got this certificate of being a UNESCO World Heritage Site lately.
Just getting closer to the temple made me feel excited.
The view was awesome, the sun was way too hot.
You are not allowed to enter the temple with shoes so everyone walks barefoot, I really like that, eventhough the stones where the sun shone upon were way to heated. Almost burned my feet there, haha.
When you enter you see a lot of monkeys there, duo to some problems I didn't take photos of them..
But I got something way bigger.
This temple elephant here!
She's getting washed everyday in the river and is taken care of. It's a pity that she can't live with other elephants because of us humans. But at least I think she don't has it too bad.
She's even waving at the camera, haha. Not really she just got her lunch, some of the monkeys there were always trying to steal food from her. haha.
Cya later
