The Wanderlust Chronicles - Episode 1

Dear Steemians, I'm glad to present to you my first original Series, where I will be sharing with you the most special moments and places that I've been able to capture in the past 10 years.

The adventure begins 10 years ago.. It's 2009, and I'm totally in love with my girlfriend. The month of November is like the 4th of July for Panama, we have 2 independence day holidays, because independence from Spain was accomplished between November 10th, and November 28th, of 1821. But also separation from Colombia on November 3, 1903, which is referred to as "Separation Day", and we celebrate both.

That year she decided she wanted to go to The San Blas Islands, an archipelago comprising approximately 365 islands and cays, of which 49 are inhabited.

We had 6 days off.. and this are some pictures I've been HODL'ing to like crypto.. just some memories of the good times.

We call that a Panga!

This is Isla Perro, the most visited island because there is a sunken ship where you can do some amazing snorkeling.

This is the island we choose for camping.

The Kuna people that live here surprised us with Lobster for dinner!

This was just my first time here, years later I had the opportunity to work in a Boutique hotel or Lodge really close to San Blas and I was able to bring tourists on a weekly basis to this paradise. I was able to document all of that as well and will be sharing with you soon in the next episodes.
