Pine and Cones

Pines are beautiful evergreen trees found in tropical places. They have needle shaped leaves.

They are coniferous plants and bear cones which is beautiful.

Pines produce both male and female cones within the same tree; male cone produces pollen and female contains ovules.

The male cones producing pollens are usually located on the lower branches of the tree while female in the upper branches inorder to prevent the fertilization within the same tree.

After the fertilization occurs, the winged pollen helps in dispersion if seeds and the new plant grows.

The fresh fragrance of the forest is a perfect getaway from busy schedule.
