World trip - Thailand

After Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia we went to Thailand. We went to Koh Lanta, Koh Phi Phi and Koh Samui (some of the many islands in Thailand). In Koh Samui I visited many Buddist temples and saw the Giant Buddha statue. They are really pretty. I saw a lot of Varans (Monitor Lizards) in Thailand as well as Tokay Geckos and Hermit Crabs.

We went to Bangkok and stayed in the old city near the river. We visited The Grand Palace. The King and his family does not live there anymore, but the palace is amazing. It was very hot in Bangkok. We took a long tail boat to see the city from the Chao Phraya River. We also went on a Tuk Tuk which is super fun.

I ate Durian fruit. It smells horrible, but tastes good :-) and tried a Scorpion on a stick. It was a bit salty and crunchy.
