THE STATUE OF LIBERTY, USA

The Statue of Liberty stood as an icon for the then just abolished slavery. It is located in the Liberty Island in New York Harbor in New York, in the United States. The copper statue, a gift from the people of France to the people of the United States, was designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi.

IT IS ALSO AN UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE !

The ground to max height is about 93 meters and the copper statue has a height of 46 meters
