Kangaroo for company : Tasmania ( Part 2)

in #travel8 years ago

Welcome to the lovely post collection where you get to travel Oceania with Olly the kangaroo.

Go check out part 1 for more context :D

When it arrived the time for Olly to finally meet his cousins from under down under, he was a little bit nervous

But rest assure, they got along very well.

We also met this cockatoo who loves headstrokes :

We then followed our journey to an abandoned island,  an old convict prison which seemed to have been eaten by beautiful  green vegetations. It was hard to think of Sarah island as a land of suffering, torture and famine, when all we could see was a sunny and green land, with chipping birds and mountainous landscapes.

Next, we went of to visit the east coast full of beautiful beaches, fine fine sand, which slipped away in your toes like fine droplets. One of my favourite beaches: Bay of fire. It is recognisable by the amazing contrast between the fiery red rocks and the sterling blue water.

Lastly, we head for another awesome hike up the Wineglass bay, regardless of the overcast weather.

Not to bad for a view eh?
