Trip review - part 5 - Toronto, Canada

in #travel7 years ago

Hi guys!

In this post I will introduce you to the biggest city of Canada, Toronto. The city is famous for the business centre and many Universities it has, which is reasonable because many international companies have their HQ in the city. Although not the capital of Canada, Toronto is its economical and educational centre.

When going to Toronto as a tourist, you need to understand that distances are huge and public transport is not as good as in Europe. Therefore, car is a must if you want to check out some areas of Toronto which are not close by. For people from Europe this is something they are not used to, because European cities are smaller with good public transport network and therefore can access most of the city without the car.

Due to my location in Downtown centre, which is also the business centre of Toronto I will show you its surroundings.

Firstly I had a walk between the skyscrapers and enjoyed the view. I thought how a good view would be from top of one of those buildings. At that moment I saw the big tower – „CN Tower“ which was used for TV broadcasting and channel transmission. It is the third tallest tower in the world with 552 meters. Next to it is the famous stadium where the Toronto Blue Jays have their home field.

If you are fan of baseball or just a sport fan you should have tour inside the stadium which is huge. You can check out almost everything from the player locker rooms, ViP saloons, etc.
After checking it out have a walk on the Toronto beach, where you can sit down and enjoy the view on the surrounding sea and huge skyscrapers.
