Exploring Holland Park and Kyoto Garden in London
Holland Park is a small but very cosy park in the western part of London. It was established in the early 17th century. Its area is 22.5 hectares. The park is open daily from 7:30 am until dawn. It is located 900 meters away from the Holland Park tube station on Central Line.
There are several entrances to the park; this one is the closest to the station.
The Kensington & Chelsea area is famous for not only good views but also high prices for real estate. A two-bedroom property will cost you around £1 million.
Right off the bat, the park seemed quite small and unremarkable. However, it turned out to be quite spacious.
Square trees.
Hobbit house.
Kyoto Garden is a Japanese-style garden founded by the Kyoto Chamber of Commerce in 1991 as part of Japanese Festival in London.
Bonsai trees in the garden are well maintained, there are about ten of them.
Japanese maple or ハウチワカエデ with its stunning red leaves.
Koi carps 鯉.
The walk around Holland Park will take about two hours. This is a great place, which I highly recommend for visiting.
In my old days, I remember these days, you actually reminded me of my old days, through your posts, I could never think that I would get such pictures.
I also love these pictures :) follow, thanks
こんにちは!私は京都に住んでいるBonsai職人です。
ロンドンに日本庭園があることに驚いています。写真に写っている赤い楓は「イロハモミジ」ですね!
