Hello There, It's Been A While

Wow, where did time go? It's been five months since my last post here.

It may sound crazy but since I landed back in the states early February this year, I felt the need to take a break from travel, photography, and social media. Mainly from photography. While on a trip around Morocco, I've set an intention to reconnect (not just through social media) with people that matters most to me starting with my bestfriend in SF who I visited on my way back home to Hawaii from Europe. Then reconnecting with friends on Oahu. And finally, with my family and friends back in Maui.

Today, I picked up my DSLR and snapped a few photos for the first time since February. And it felt great. Since I've moved (temporarily) to the Philippines in March, I've taken two separate trips to HK and lugged my camera gears around but never took it out of the bag. I was happy and content with the mobile photos I took (I still wanted to document the trips somehow, lol).

It's been three months since I left home to be based in the Philippines. It hasn't been easy, you see. As I am not here to travel/backpack around but to slow down a bit. I am not here for work either. So I needed to find something - anything - to keep me out of boredom. Just a month after moving here, I was reintroduced to yoga. I have met a lovely community and my favorite yoga teacher yet and have been practicing three times a week. I am getting better with inversions and other poses.
