Cuando en México - Mexican food!

Hola amigos! I’m feeling major holiday blues because this time last year I was in sunny Mexico – Playa Del Carmen. One thing I loved about Mexico was, of course, the FOOD. The food was absolutely amazing. I am a sucker for Mexican food, and I was lucky proper and authentic Mexican food!

We went to a lovely outside restaurant and bar called ‘La Panaderia’ just along the strip in Playa Del Carmen beside the Sephora shop! To start I had beef tacos, covered in a spicy seasoning, Mexican black beans and drizzled with sour cream sauce and coriander. I then added a drizzle of chilli sauce over them and they were delicious!

I then had traditional chicken fajita with a tasty guacamole and black bean serving on the side.

In our hotel, we also had lots of different A La Carte restaurants on the complex that we ate in. Here in one restaurant I had a salmon puree topped with prawns and avocado.

And in a different restaurant I had even more salmon! It’s safe to say I put on quite a few pounds on this holiday, who couldn’t resist such tasty food?
