Mexico Part 3 - the wildlife

In Playa Del Carmen (Mexico) there were some weird and wonderful creatures that we were able to get a close look at!

There were these things wondering around our whole complex, they looked like racoons but had really long noses and a really long tail. We even saw one with lots of little babies running behind it. Adorable!

We also saw these huge iguanas, they were about a metre in length from head to tail, if not bigger!

These were huge grasshoppers that were about the size of your hand. And they weren't afraid to jump out at you!

The best animal though of course, as a crazy cat lady, was this gorgeous little wild cat we found on one of the complexes! I say little, but she was huge and had a very fat tummy. We were told that she likes to come onto the complex and was actually pregnant. She was gorgeous, I wanted to take her home!
