Native American Pow Wow | How American Indians meet, greet and dance!

We are currently staying in beautiful Colorado, close to the Mesa Verde National Park, and on the edge of the Navajo Nation Reservation.

Learning about the Native American culture and history has been fascinating, and we were lucky enough to attend the Grand Entry of the 2017 Towaoc Pow Wow.

Pow Wows are the Native American people’s way of meeting together, to join in dancing, singing, visiting, renewing old friendships, and making new ones.
Just look at the detail and colours of the native dress. We loved it.
