So how did you communicate with the people on the train? Because from my own experience especially most of the russians are not that good in speaking english ^^
I agree, I only stayed about two days on the train from Berlin to Moscow and it was already challenging. But mainly because of the three sided bed order I think... my back hurt pretty much ^^ Already following :D You have great posts!
They can't speak much English, and so a lot depends on the sign language. One Russian lady who stayed two compartments away could speak English and so as a last resort she would act as our interpreter.
I think the sign language is one of the most important one in the world for understanding people!!! It is grate that you could communicate even without knowing the same language :D And I still admire your courage for making this trip!
