From the Movie Set of Lost~ exploring Kaaawa, Oahu

Our family scored an amazing invite down to party along the fish ponds in Kaaawa. The land here is amazing and has been used to film many movies. We recognized several scenes from one of our favorite shows, Lost.

The docks were serene sitting watching all the egrets come into nest for the evening as the sunset. This setting is where the sub would come to pick up and rescue folks from the island in Lost and was used with stadium seating set into place for the sea creature feeding in the newest Jurasic World.

We walked back off the waterway and into the jungles and caught peekaboo views of the Crouching Lion mountain range and several old homesteads. It was so serene here, these pictures just cannot capture the beauty of the lands along Kaaawa's coast!
