A scenic village in the centre of Scotland's capital that is worth visiting!
Dean Village is a small scenic village just 10 minutes away of Edinburgh's city centre. Dean village has a mixture of architectural character, mostly from the 19th century, as well as a touch of colour. The Water of Leith walkway passes through the village, providing a footpath by the Water of Leith giving additional beauty to the village. There are 2 bridges that cross over the river, leading to an old church. Nature's beauty around the village is also unbelievable, even on a frosty day like today! It's worth a visit!

Greetings from cold and icy Edinburgh!
Nice. I never knew about this place. As one of the editors for @steemitworldmap’s daily #traveldigest, I would love to see this post pop up on http://steemitworldmap.com. If you're interested, simply go to the website, search for your location, click on code (down the bottom) and add a short description. It will then generate the code you need to copy and paste into your post (not the comments) to have it show up on steemit worldmap. There’s also a FAQ section if you get a bit lost.
