Let's see what beautiful British Columbia has to offer!

All work and no play makes me something something...

Work has been a bit much lately so we took a drive to Banff up the Canadian rockies through to Jasper, up to Prince George and back home to Vancouver through Lillouet.

On the way to Banff, we stopped at Revelstoke, BC to enjoy the quiet mountain scene. And lo and behold, they've got their Pipe Coaster up and running!

Revelstoke has built a community of people that are here for the great outdoors. They're here to play and enjoy the laid back natural mountain parks. In the winter, huge crowds gather and come into town to enjoy the slopes.

Since it's the fall, there weren't a lot of people here. We headed up to the Revelstoke Dam to check out the dam and enjoy the view.

Work wasn't playing nice on my back, so we visited the aquatic centre to enjoy a quick swim, steam, sauna, hot tub and floated in the lazy river.

It's dinner time! We headed to the quaint little Village Idiot Bar and Grill for some drinks and pasta. Their chairs, benches and decor is made of all things ski and boarding.

The next day we headed up the mountain to ride the pipe coaster! It's quite exhilarating! The coasters are brought up by the gondola. Once they set the back onto the track, gravity does the rest. All you need to do is control the brakes, but who needs them anyways?! Full throttle!

What a beautiful drive through the mountain passes. Onto Banff!
