EXTENSION TRIP TO KANPATLET and MT. VICTORIA FROM BAGAN

4Days/3Nights Bagan-Kampatlet-Mt.Victoria-Bagan
DAY 1. BAGAN-KANPETLET (-/L/D) (BY 4 WD PAJERO) (-/L/D)

Early morning depart for Chauk along the river side for one hour. Cross Ayeyarwady River by bridge and continue to Kanpelet (approx 100 miles / 8 hours) through rough and dirty road passing through Chauk, Seikbyu and Saw. You will feel cool and comfortable when reach the 4600 ft high old British administrative town. In the evening, arrive at Kanpelet, one of the very beautiful and peaceful hill stations. Lunch at local restaurant. On arrival at Kanpelet, transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain Oasis Resort, in Kanpelet.
DAY 2. KAMPATLET- MT. VICTORIA –KAMPATLET (BY 4 WD PAJERO) (B/L/D)

Early morning, 1hour drive to base camp (also called 10th Mile Camp), where the starting point for trekking to Mt. Victoria (Nat-Ma-Taung) (approx 2 hour). And start for trekking up to the summit of the Mount Victoria, its height is about 2917 meters (approx 4 hour). You will have great chance to explore to ecotourism site of Na-Ma-Taung National Park (Mt Victoria). On the way, see rare butterflies and birds also Sitta Victoria white browned nuthatch, is found only in mountain forest of Mt. Victoria, the highest peak in Chin Hills. Lunch will be Picnic lunch. Enjoy the spectacular views over the jungle and mountain area. Return to base camp (10th Mile Camp) and drive back to Kanpetlet.
Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain Oasis Resort, in Kanpelet.
DAY 3. KANPATLET (ABOUT 3 HOURS TREK) (B/L/D)

After breakfast, we visit some smaller CHIN VILLAGES around the town of Kampelet.
We will find tribes such as: NGARA, YIN DU, DAI, OKPU, MAGAN, MWYN. All these groups speak different dialects and have different costumes. The women, mostly elderly ones, also we spotted a few young girls, have TATTOOED FACES, with very different patterns. We count about 5 different ways of putting the tattoos on: dots, spider, lines, curls, almost black. Walks to each village take about 1 to 1 ½ hours. The CHINS are mostly Christians with a variety of all beliefs from Methodists to Catholics. Lunch will be picnic lunch on the way. In the evening, drive back to Kanpalet.
Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain Oasis Resort, in Kanpelet.

DAY 4. KANPALET- BAGAN (BY 4 WD PAJERO) (B/L/-)

After breakfast, early morning return back to Bagan. On the way, the scenery today is interesting. On the way back to Bagan, visit Chauk Township. Arrive at Bagan (driving hours from Kanpalat to Bagan will be 8 hours), directly transfer to the hotel in Bagan.
Lunch will be served at local Restaurant.
