I would like to share my travel in Cagayan de Oro City and other facts about the city. Cagayan de Oro (CDO) is considered as one of the high class highly urbanized city in Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

I remember the old domestic airport of Cagayan de Oro is located in Barangay Lumbia, Lumbia Airport in the province of Misamis Oriental in the Philippines. And last June 15, 2013 the new Airport called “Laguindingan Airport” opened and it was located in Barangay Moog, Laguindingan. Nowadays, the Lumbia Airport is military air base for the Philippine Air Force.
We traveled 1 hour and 30 minutes from Manila to Cagayan de Oro.

Also. I would like to share what delicacies of CDO I really want to buy every time I visited Cagayan de Oro CDO. One of my favorites is the peanut of chedings. The said peanut is originated from Iligan City but famous in CDO. Cheding’s Peanuts have a different flavor to choose from toasted peanuts, salted peanuts, sugar-coated peanuts, crispy garlic hot peanuts and spicy peanuts flavor. Cheding's Peanut is Php 57.75 pesos.
