friends today I will talk about my visit to one of the most beautiful heritage towers in Istanbul, today despite the cold winds but the atmosphere is very beautiful especially at the top of the tower .
Here is the story of this architectural masterpiece,The tower of sin (Galata in turkey), in the past it was called Tower of Jesus or the big tower.
One of the oldest and most beautiful towers in Istanbul, since the Middle Ages and is located in the Galata region of Istanbul, north of the Golden Horn.

The tower was used during the reign of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent as a prison for the convicts who were working in an arsenal(Ship factory) Qassim Pasha region. In the sixteenth century astrology scholar Taqi Eddin Effendi built an observatory on its summit and after being used as a watch for a period that was converted into a prison under the reign of Sultan Murad III.

The tower used today by a private company for a tourist destination where the first and second floors are ascended.
On foot and the other seven floors are ascended by elevator to reach the restaurant located at the last floor and the round terrace surrounding the tower give the viewer a great view of Istanbul and the Aegean bazaar.
