Trip to Morocco: Day 9 - M'hamid El Ghizlane
After a day of driving through impressive landscapes we arrived in M'hamid El Ghizlane, a small village 100 km south of Zagora where the Sahara begins. It's about 8 hours drive by car from Marrakech. It's the last village , here the road of Morocco ends. The place is historically important as here the caravans gathered before going to other destinations. In M'hamid we went to Desert Bivouac where you can arrange trips to the desert. We arranged a beautiful place to sleep in a nomad desert camp. You can stay here a day to relax and start your trips to the desert from here.
