One of the key happiness in any woman’s life is taking the starring role of a mother. The only setback lies in the changeover of roles which takes place during the nine months of pregnancy.

As  every pregnancy is different,  a pregnant woman  must take extreme care and safeguard while planning for the travel . However with modern medical facilities, and mobile healthcare centers, one can easily travel without anxiety. Pregnant women are in a delicate condition through their term of pregnancy. As a start they need to check whether their travel trip is absolutely necessary. If it is, then the entire plan should base on what is the best mode of travel.

Things to consider while travel:

1. Keeping journey Time Moderate

When a pregnant woman is travelling, she needs to find ways to reduce her travel time. If airlines fly to the destination, then it is better for a pregnant lady to travel by air instead of road or train to moderate the journey time. This will help to shorten her moments of nausea too.

2. Mentally prepared for travel

Pregnant women must make cautious mind set to stay alert and active during a flight or train / road journey.

3.Packing comfortable clothes

Pregnancy is the one phase in which a woman can eat what she wants and not bother about increasing weight. And it’s important to feel comfortable during this time, especially to counter restlessness of travelling with a bulky girth. She must wear loose clothes to stay comfortable and mobile.

4. Collect the Details of the Nearest Health Care Center

Before starting your journey, save the details of the nearest health care facility, close to your destination in your smart phone. Also write a post in face book or twitter by tagging your destination.

 5. Carrying proper medication

Before a travel trip, consult a doctor and carry all the necessary medication which may need at right time.

6.Accompany with your friends.

This point is especially important for a pregnant woman traveler to bear in mind. During pregnancy one never knows when one will need physical or emotional assistance.  Ask a friend or relative to accompany you, if possible.
