Our home for the next weeks vacation to Scotland
Penrith is a town in Cumbria’s Eden Valley, England. It’s known for the massive 14th-century Penrith Castle, set on a grassy meadow. Nearby, the Penrith Museum houses Roman pottery and objects reflecting local history. To the north is Beacon Hill, with its Penrith Beacon monument and panoramic views. South of the town are the Norman Brougham Castle and the prehistoric monument of Mayburgh Henge.
