San Francisco trip
We spent some time in San Francisco recently. Beautiful city, friendly people, and amazing food. We weren't there long enough to even scratch the surface of what that city has to offer, so will definitely have to go back!!

Great city to visit. I visited it back in 2009 and went to Alcatraz as well. Also Fishermans wharf which is a very beautiful pier like structure. Did you also visit the one street going up and down with the many corners? Don't quite remember the name..
Lombard street! Yep, went there. I was surprised to see so many parrots flying around. Fishermans wharf was pretty fun. It was neat to see all of the sea lions laying on the docks
I really love SF, been there a couple of years ago for the first time. Would not mind to live there!
I thought the same until we decided to walk from the wharf to our hotel on top of knob hill. Not very far, but so many steep hills!! Maybe living in a nearby community would work better ;)
I would get a little moped since indeed the steepness of the streets has its charms but also its drawbacks. I walked all the way from the city centre to the beach (through the big park they have there) and back through the tracking road along the bay entirely to the bridge. That was a fantastic route!
