South Africa. Home to wild animals, beautiful forests and vast mountains. Do you want to hear a lion roar? Or perhaps a face-off against a buffalo? Visit designated places not many know of? Hungry for a challenge? Then SA is the place to be.

South Africa is homeland to 5 of Africa's remarkable wild animals. The Big Five includes the almighty African lion, the intelligent African elephant, the lightning fast African Leopard, the lazy Cape buffalo and also the extinct rhinoceros. These 5 wild animals can only be seen in Africa.

  • South Africa also has a prodigious mountain, called Table-Mountain, standing 3560 ft high. This is a big tourist attraction based in the mother-city, Cape Town. From the top of table mountain is a tremendous view of the ocean and CT itself with a self-service restaurant. There is a 5 minute cable car which takes you to the top, or if you're up for a challenge, you have a choice of 2 paths to hike up.

  • In the Swartberg Mountains, you'll find the Cango Caves, which is 20 million year old. These caves, cut deeply into solid limestone rock layer, is a variety of hidden chambers. Claustrophobia taken to a whole new level in here.

  • For those adrenaline junkies, Bloukrans Bungee is perfect for you! Standing 708 feet above the gorge's floor, (not to mention Bloukrans is the highest bridge in Africa) looking down on what your brain thinks is death and being pushed off of it. Your adrenaline will be pumping without a doubt ...

  • A surfers paradise would be Jeffrey's Bay.  70 km west of Port Elizabeth. Known as one of the best surfing spots in SA and the world. This bay has some of the best  right hand breaking waves on the planet. Surf lesson and sandboards are available , wet-suits are supplied.

  • In the biggest city, Johannesburg, you'll find a thrill-seeking amusement park. Gold Reef City. Consisting of a casino, a exciting theme park with roller coasters, water slides and the enraged river rapids. The perfect family outing.

And then, last but not least, why is South Africa known as the Rainbow Nation? Here in SA you'll find a person from every race and language. I believe if you visit our country you'll have the greatest time and meet some friendly people from across the world.
