Fireside chat with Jeffrey Tucker - Porcfest Photos

in #travel6 years ago (edited)

I'm a big fan of Jeffrey Tucker's work. He's able to see the eye-watering beauty of people participating in a market even when most of us take it for granted. Like 'Life Without the McDouble'

He's also one of the first 'old school' Austrian Economics libertarian types to really get excited about cryptocurrencies. He understands why they are so special, and I love hearing what he has to say on the topic.

And this is the kind of thing that happens when you attend Porcfest. You end up hanging out by the bonfire, drinking a few beers, and talking about bitcoin with your intellectual heroes!

These images were shot with a Sony A7s II paired with a Mitakon 50mm f/0.95 lens. They were all shot wide open at f/0.95. Not only do I get bokeh I like at that aperture, but I can suddenly use reasonable shutter speeds at reasonable ISO levels! These were mostly ISO 2500 and a shutter speed of 1/80 sec.
