Not only does traveling make you find your "authentic self," like you said, I think morr people should take the opprotunity to experience 3rd world countries and give back to society. Nothing would make a person more humble or driven like going to see and aid others in situations that we never have to struggle with like seeking water, food, ect. Now what they do when they come back after their journey, is a different story but god I hope it is for the greater good of man kind.
