Aptos, established in 1851, is a quaint village, and is located southeast of Santa Cruz, a popular resort at seaside.  

 

Every year, the foundation offers horse vacations in the form of 4-week internships, 4-day horse vacations and year-round student volunteering. Within the western states, the foundation offers horse training clinics where you learn how to train your horse to perform fun behaviors using positive reinforcement. Moreover, how to eliminate unwanted behavior and develop the skills to remain calm and relaxed and keep the horse relaxed is also taught.
