Yours truly at the bus stop ๐Ÿ˜

Hi lovelies!! ๐Ÿ˜Š Thanks for all the follows ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค— Really makes my day.

As you might know, I'm a gamer and I recently got into tabletop gaming as they call it or boardgames. Warhammer 40K and such.

But.. I went online last night and found out that there is a Witcher board game!!!! Lol. Have to save up for that!! Need that in my life. #Obsessed.

Here are a few pictures of the table top games (pictures of the figures, really) I'm interested in.

I'm really into trolls and Necrons at the moment.
And these are my abyssal dwarves below. I painted them painstakingly.

By the way, if you peeps know how to deal with rotated pictures here, do tell me!! My pictures end up rotated sometimes. Really gets on my nerves.

Veggie pizza!! With veggie for days ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… Austrians are definitely not stingy with their ingredients.

Anyway, pertaining to bad days, the sun has a knack of setting kinda early these days especially because it's autumn here now. And dear ole me, got lost because I really suck at reading maps. I left my place at 4 pm and got lost for 2 hours trying to find my way to this supermarket (Lidl) and ended up in Billa (also a supermarket) instead. The map said that Billa was definitely on the way to Lidl so yours truly was delighted. But it suddenly got really dark. Just like that. No kidding. At around 6.20 pm. I was stranded there so I walked into a quaint little shop with the sign "Eis" on the outside thinking it meant ice-cream. But lo and behold, nothing of that sort.

My German is still pretty shitty by the way and so I ordered a beer in German and to my dismay, it turned out to be alcohol-free (alcoholfrei)- really triggering. Lol ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Anyway, asked the kind old lady in there for directions to Lidl and it turned out I was on the whole other side of town.

Oh and the weather drops really rapidly after the sun sets!!

To cut the winding story short, I took a tram to the last stop which turned out to be the hospital and almost ended up in Slovenia. Yes, Slovenia. Lol and the worst thing is that there are no border controls here. Knowing me, I'd have walked my way to the horizon if I could.

Ended up finding Lidl though, at 7.50- right before they closed (Austria is a bit odd because everything closes really early and mostly everything in my country operates 24/7 or till really late) and got what I needed. Walked out, grocery bag tore. Put all the groceries in my bag (laptop bag) and proceeded to walk about 200 m and realized there was something trickling down my legs. It was the milk. Jesus. Had to stop by the roadside (people thought I was homeless because I just plopped down ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚) and tried to sort it out. Got home at 9 ish and proceeded to give myself a rather large bump on my head. Accidentally knocked my head on the upper part of my fridge. Really upsetting. Lol, blacked out for close to 5 minutes, I kid you not.

That's the end of my bad day I guess ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

Wow, that was lengthy ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… you peeps can fill me in on what kinda content you'd like me to write about :)

My next post will probably be about something Science-related.

Have a good day, wherever you are lovelies!! Later!!

Did you ever play Dreamblade? It was never particularly popular (Wizards of the Coast cancelled production after 14 months), but I thought it was an interesting miniatures game. Basically, it's Magic the Gathering meets chess with dice. Not the easiest game to learn, but once you figure it out, it's a lot of fun.

Wow, thank you for the suggestion!! :) I'll definitely keep a lookout for it. I started building my Space marines army. Wanna go for gene stealers next.

Dreamblade sounds like a game to die for!! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค—

Bulk lots are super cheap on Ebay. There's one with 375 miniatures, a shipload of dice and 2 playmats for $100 USD.

Kind of a shame, really. It had an interesting idea, and some solid art direction. There's been rumblings for years that the 3D printing community should make their own minis and build a custom set.

I just looked it up, they still have the demo from 2006 on the WotC website! http://www.wizards.com/dreamblade/demo/demo.asp

Aahh by golly you're a true gamerfriend!! Lol I'm absolutely gonna look it up now. Thanks Gem!! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Happy to help! I'm gonna demo Dreamblade with a friend or my wife this year. Dunno when, but you should follow me regardless. I'm doing cosplay stuff on Tuesdays, and co-op games on Thursdays. I love having people chiming in on the stream chat, it always makes things a lot more fun.
