An amazing country, Singapore before is one place to stop on the way to other country. But today it is one of the greatest place to visit on. I was very happy to travel in the country. Let me share you my experience and insights on my travel and I will share tips on how to maximize your itinerary in Singapore.

The first thing to do after reaching a destination, where you intend to stay for more than two to three days, is to buy a local SIM card. Especially if you are on your own. Also at the airport, I bought a three-day Mass Railway Transport card ( Tourist Pass)

You can ordinarily get round-trip tickets between Manila and Singapore for under P6,000. However, during a piso sale, this can drop to just a little over P2,000. It is better to keep an eye out for sales by following airlines' social media accounts.

When you get there, If you want to save on accommodations, your best bet would be a hostel. I stayed at Travellers Loft @ Lavender is even cheaper (P584) and is in the same neighborhood but is located a bit farther from the MRT station but it will only take you for about 10min walk going to Ferrer Park station.

Where to Eat:

Again if you want to save money and eat a lot of food, you have to try "Hawkers Centers" (there's one almost everywhere). and taste for yourself. You'll see tourists mingling with working stiffs, stuffing their faces with Indian, Chinese, , "Western", and some exotic Southeast Asia food choices.

there is no excuse to not trying these time-tested foods we all grew up with.

As a tourist, this is a good check-list of authentic local cuisine in Singapore. These are the foods to eat in Singapore when you visit.

Get a good map and explore the city on your own tour — Go on a do-it-yourself (DIY) around Singapore’s different cultural districts if you want to save yourself from expensive admission fees at themed attractions. There are a lot of awesome things to do in Singapore that doesn’t cost a dime.

And there you go. I hope this travel guide will help you when you get there. Happy travels Steemians! :))
