Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site located 150 km from the Sri Lanka's capital city Colombo. It is the largest and best preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding. Major attractions are spread over 5 caves, which contain statues and paintings.

These are some pictures I took from my travels in Sri Lanka

Great work. Upvoted and followed.

Thank you sir

Look at all those statues!!! How do they do that?! And how did they fit all those buildings inside the rock!?!? Amazing!

I know right! Truly Amazing! Thanks!

That second to last monkey looks awestruck. And the monkeys preening each other ... reminds me of Bali. But the monkeys you saw probably aren't kleptomaniacs!

Yeah man, I remember those monkeys in Uluwatu steal things from tourists! Phones, cameras, eyeglasses, etc

Always a pleasure to see more travellers on Steemit, upvoted and following ;)
